About the role:
Our team is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Clinical Educator! This role can either be full-time (40 hours / week) or part-time (32 hours / week), working weekdays. This is a senior nursing role suitable for someone already in clinical education or an experienced RN with a penchant for teaching.
Key responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the design, delivery, facilitation and evaluation of the education programme of Elizabeth Knox Homes & Hospital.
• Coordinate and support the clinical placement of students from affiliated schools and universities.
• Engage with specialist organisations and the wider community to determine training and education opportunities for Knox staff and residents.
• Ensure that the clinical training programme is aligned with the Eden Alternative, Knox community values, and strategic organisational objectives.
• Facilitate the utilisation of high-quality online training as an adjunct to face-to-face learning.
• Demonstrate a positive solution-orientated attitude to overcoming barriers and
challenges faced when creating or facilitating training.
At Elizabeth Knox Home and Hospital, we will partner with you and support you to grow and succeed in your role. You will be supported by an Education Coordinator. This role will also be supported and work collaboratively with the wider operations team.
What you bring:
• A current Annual Practising Certificate as a Registered Nurse backed by rich clinical experience in various fields of nursing.
• Post-graduate certification or/and registration as an Eden Associate is desirable.
